Why Irish Film?

Creativity and artistic expression are at the heart of the Irish Experience.  Our art, storytelling, music, dance, theatre, literature and film provide a window to the richness of our language and wit, the depth & breadth of our culture and history, the diversity of our thoughts and ideas and the complexity of the social, economic and political issues we have faced and continue to face today.

Ireland's artists, composers, musicians, storytellers, writers and filmmakers are both her strongest champions as well as her sharpest critics.

Presented by Claddagh ne nGael, The Irish Film Fest is dedicated to showcasing the stories and storytellers of Ireland and in doing so, raising awareness and appreciation of the Creative Celtic Spirit.  Our goal is to become the premiere visual arts festival in North America focused on films of and by the Irish.

Claddagh na nGael is a 501(c)3 organization based in New Jersey dedicated to the promotion and preservation of traditional Irish Culture in all its forms.
